Great job on project 1! Now, onwards and upwards onto project 2 :)
It is now posted here, including some skeleton code in Python that can hopefully guide you a bit. We will go over the project on Tuesday. The deadline is 30 April 2026 @ 23:59.

You can access the project 1 description here, as well as the data needed for it here. You have until March 31st, 23:59, and we will use Devilry for anonymous handing in.
Please be prepared to hand in:
- A pdf-file with your answers to the problems
- The code(s) you have developed
Please let me know if you have any questions or if anything is unclear! The sooner you start, the more opportunities there will be to ask questions :)

Dear students in AST3220,
Group sessions will now start at 12:15 to 14:00 in room 209, 2 etg, Svein Rosselands hus. This was done due to avoid clashing with another course. Please contact the administration, i.e.moe@astro.uio.no or you course supervisor, if this change is problematic for your time schedule.

The course manager has created a discussion room (Discourse room) for this course. You can access the discussion room by clicking on the link below. The first time you access Discourse through the link, you will be asked to log in with FEIDE. This is done with your regular UiO user. After you have completed this, you will be notified that your Discourse user has been created and that you have received an email to verify your user. If you don't see the email, check your spam folder. After activation it will take a few minutes before you can access the discussion room.?
