All applicants must upload scanned copies of their supporting documents into the University of Oslo's online application system, S?knadsweb. Please make sure you have provided everything that is asked for and upload the documents requested. Please name your uploaded files as suggested in the tables below.

Recognition procedure for applicants without verifiable documentation

If you have completed education from Afghanistan, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iraq, Yemen, Liberia, Libya, Sierra Leone or Somalia, you must apply for recognition of your education from HK-dir before you can apply for admission to the University of Oslo.

HK-dir has a specific recognition procedure for persons without verifiable documentation (the UVD-procedure).

You must have a valid residence permit in Norway in order to be eligible for the UVD-procedure.

Secondary education

Required document Description
Documentation of completed secondary education

Admission to Bachelor-level studies is based primarily on your secondary school/high school papers. 

Applicants from EU/EEA countries must submit their secondary school papers to show they meet the English language requirements, unless they submit another type of English documentation.

A scanned copy of the original diploma/certificate must be uploaded.
