You must use two-factor authentication (secure login) for Microsoft 365 (Word, OneDrive, Teams etc.) and Feide (Canvas, My Studies etc.) at UiO. Confirm your login with a mobile phone.

The reading rooms in B?rrestuveien 3 are open for booking in TP.
To reserve a seat in the reading rooms and the computer room, students must book a seat in TP: https://tp.uio.no/
There are limited seats in the reading rooms due to infection control considerations. This also means that students will not have a personal seat reserved for the whole semester.
If you have any belongings in the reading rooms, this must be removed by September 4th. If you do not gather your belongings by September 4th, they will be transported to the expedition at the Harald Schjelderups building. You will then have the opportunity to gather your belongings from the expedition.
It is important that you activate your student card at the reception on the 1st floor in B?rrestuveien 3 to gain access to the reading rooms.

Are you a master og phd student and want to learn R? Join our introduction to R seminar the 13. September from 10-16. It will be on PSI campus but the exact room will be announced later. The seminar does not require any previous experience with R but you must bring your own laptop.

From April 18th you are not allowed to wear watches during exams at the University of Oslo. The reason for that is that there is a lot of new smart watches on the market, and it is not possible to distinguish these from the traditional watches. The clocks must henceforth be put in bags, jacket pockets or the like along with mobile phones, MP3 players and other electronic equipment.
Wearing a wristwatch during the examination could be considered an attempt to cheat on an equal footing with other illegal aids. It will be visible clocks in all the examination premises.
