How to send a reset link as an administrator
- Go to TSD Selfservice.
- Select Foreign user administration under Project Administration.
- Click Password reset.
- Click Create new link.
- Note: the reset link is only valid for 3 hours.
- Select the user from the list and click Create and send reset link.
- Send the link to the user.
- The link is also sent to the user’s email address that you entered in the previous step, but not the passphrase.
- Provide the passphrase (secret) to the user in a video meeting or phone call.
- The passphrase must not be sent directly to the user.
How the user changes password and sets OTP
- Goes to the link, enters the passphrase and clicks validate.
- Sets a new password.
- If only a new OTP is needed, the user skips this.
- Selects Front page or clicks the TSD logo to go to the start page.
- Selects OTP under Your personal data and sets a new OTP.
