How to upgrade resources
If you find that the virtual machine is slow or often needs a restart, an upgrade may help. Send us an email at tsd-drift@uio.no with:
- the project number
- the name of the virtual machine you want to upgrade
- This can be, for example, "pxx-win01".
- Note: the number of CPUs and the amount of RAM apply per virtual machine in the project, while the project’s storage space is shared between all virtual machines.
- the desired upgrade – extra storage (in TB) / total number of CPUs / total amount of RAM
You must confirm that you are aware of the cost of the upgrade.
