The wireless network at UiO is called Eduroam. The network requires you to log in with either:
- username and password from UiO
- username and password from another institution affiliated with Eduroam
- username and password you get as a guest or conference participant

Don’t lose wireless network access when changing your password
Applies only to private computers and telephones and other devices that are not operated by UiO.
From 6 January 2026 there will be a security update for the Eduroam wireless network at UiO. If you have incorrect settings for Eduroam, you will need to set it up again the next time you change your password — or preferably before — to avoid losing wireless network access.
