Jens Petter Berg is the vice rector for life sciences and health research at teh University of Oslo (2025-).
Background
Jens Petter Berg is Professor at the Institute of Clinical Medicine. He holds a cand. med. and dr. med. from UiO and is a specialist in medical biochemistry. Jens Petter Berg has extensive experience from his current and former positions in research leadership at the interface between UiO and the university hospitals. From 2019 to 2022, he was the Dean of Research at the Faculty of Medicine (UiO) and has since participated in the establishment of the Centre for Pandemics and One-Health Research.
