UiO employees have access to some outstanding offers from theaters and other cultural institutions. Here we list events that do not require knowledge of Norwegian. Theatre performances and other events in Norwegian are posted on the Norwegian version of the website. Please feel free to check that page if you would like a broader selection.

The Oslo Philharmonic invites UiO employees to four outstanding concerts in February, March and April. Works by Irgens-Jensen, Bruckner, Strauss, Stravinsky, Brahms, Mozart, Schumann and many others will be performed.
Susie Wang is known for creating satirical and unconventional theatre. Staff at the University of Oslo can now purchase tickets for NOK 200 to the ensemble’s guest performance “Heavy Breathers”. The production has received excellent reviews, is said to be playful and energetic, and will only be performed nine times between 21 March and 9 April. Language: English.
