Office for Research and International cooperation
The Office is responsible for support and advice in the field of external funding of research and innovation, international cooperation in the field of research, and institutional coordination in academic and strategic prioritization processes and cross-disciplinary initiatives.
This entails the following main tasks:
- Support and advice within the EU Research Framework Programme, major national funding programmes (such as centres of excellence and centres for research-based innovation), EEA, US sources of funding
- Coordination of international cooperation programs and priority countries
- Coordination of research agreements and strategic cooperation agreements
- Institutional coordination of research infrastructures (applications, grants)
- Career development
- Coordination responsibility and/or secretariat tasks: Research Deans' Forum, FANE Network (research administrators), North-South Committee, Scholars at Risk Committee
