The most important partner institutions in the NUFU programme 2007-2012 were the University of Malawi, the University of Dar es Salaam and the Addis Ababa University. Most of UiO's NUFU projects in this period had more than one partner outside Norway. UiO started cooperation with two new countries in this period, Indonesia and South Sudan.
The projects had 55 Ph.D.-candidates og 42 master students affiliated to the NUFU Projects (based on 2009 Reporting). Most of them were from the partner institutions in developing countries with NUFU- or quota fellowships.
