Self-employed persons

For those who are self-employed and will enter a temporary work contract with UiO. You cannot receive payment as a self-employed person if you are employed by UiO, unless the assignment differs substantially from your duties as an employee.

  • UiO only accepts electronic invoices (EHF).

Signing the contract

When an assignment has been agreed, you will receive a contract from a caseworker at UiO. Take care to fill in the company name, organisation number, and email address correctly. Sign the contract and return it to the caseworker.

Sending the invoice

You must send an invoice to UiO after the work has been carried out. The invoice must be marked with the order number from UiO’s ordering system. You will receive this from the caseworker who created the contract for you.
